Spatiotemporal Variation in the Microbiome of Aedes vexans from Korea Reveals Regional Markers

The mosquito Aedes vexans is a globally distributed vector associated with the transmission of West Nile virus and other arboviruses. Despite increasing interest in mosquito-associated microbiota, little is known about the regional and seasonal variation of microbial communities in field populations of Aedes vexans, particularly in temperate East Asian regions.
