This dataset supports the research presented in the paper “A decision framework for financial data architecture design in ERP transformations”. It contains all input data and calculations required to reproduce the results obtained using the TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) method. The dataset is provided in the form of an Excel file and includes: definition of decision variants (financial data architecture patterns), definition of evaluation criteria (technical and organizational), classification of criteria into benefit and cost types, expert-based assessment of criteria weights, scenario-based weighting for four organizational contexts: global manufacturing enterprise, industrial group with local autonomy, retail / omnichannel organization, local company with regulatory constraints, decision matrix constructed using an ordinal scale (1–9), normalized decision matrix, weighted normalized matrix, ideal and negative-ideal solutions, calculation of separation measures, TOPSIS closeness coefficients, final ranking of architecture variants for each scenario. The model is designed to ensure full transparency and reproducibility of results. All intermediate calculation steps are explicitly included in the dataset. The evaluation is based on expert-informed judgment. The expert panel consisted of professionals with experience in ERP transformations, including roles such as SAP FI Consultant, Enterprise Architect, Finance Manager, Data Lead, and Project Manager. Expert inputs were anonymized. This dataset can be used for: replication of results presented in the study, sensitivity analysis, extension of the model using alternative criteria or weights, comparison with other multi-criteria decision-making methods.
