Plantar pressure dataset for foot health assessment

This dataset comprises plantar pressure images collected as part of a study aimed at investigating foot health through advanced pressure analysis techniques. The data was gathered at the Shuangchi Customized Factory shoe store. The Footbird 3.0 foot pressure scanner, equipped with flexible pressure sensors, was utilized to capture the plantar pressure distribution characteristics of the foot. 

The dataset includes a total of 400 plantar images categorized into five distinct foot types: normal feet, high-arched feet, flat feet, inward heel tilt, and outward heel tilt. Additionally, some images may represent mixed foot types, providing a comprehensive overview of various foot health conditions. 

This dataset serves as a valuable resource for researchers and practitioners in the field of podiatry and biomechanics, facilitating further analysis of plantar pressure characteristics and their implications for foot health assessment. The dataset is not published in any other sources and is intended to support ongoing research in this area.
