资源简介:
This document is a digital appendix for the book chapter Joëlle Rolland (2025), "Analytical study of glass from Němčice and its Mediterranean supply networks -Analytická studie skla z Němčic a jeho středomořské dodavatelské sítě", in Ivan Čižmář, Hana Čižmářová (dir.), Němčice. Excavations in 2021–2022 / Němčice. Výzkumy v letech 2021–2022, Brno: Moravian museum. During the excavations in Němčice in 2021 and 2022, more than 250 glass objects and fragments were discovered, 117 of which were analysed (86 were discovered during the 2021 excavation and 31 in 2022). These included 25 fragments of glass bracelets found during the excavation, 29 glass beads, 26 objects interpreted as failed glass beads and 37 pieces of glass working waste (glass threads, melted glass fragments, glass fragments removed from tools with tool negatives, fragments of raw glass). In total, 127 different glasses were analysed from these 117 objects (each object could have been made from glass of different colours). The analysis corpus of the excavated material contains 108 blue glasses, 10 opaque yellow glasses, three opaque white glasses, three colourless glasses and three translucent yellow glasses. This document present the composition of this corpus expressed in weight%. These analyses were carried out at UMR 5060 IRAMAT/Ceb in Orléans, in collaboration with Bernard Gratuze, using laser ablation mass spectrometry method (LA-ICP-MS).
