Concentrations of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in surface water of Galveston Bay collected aboard R/V Trident cruises following Hurricane Harvey from 2017-09-04 to 2017-09-28

This dataset contains concentrations of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in surface water of Galveston Bay collected aboard the R/V Trident cruises following the Hurricane Harvey from 2017-09-04 to 2017-09-28. About 1.5 liters of surface water was collected each from 10 stations (H1-H10) in Galveston Bay during the 5 sampling R/V Trident cruises (T1-T5). Water samples were extracted for PAH using dichloromethane. Extracts were concentrated. PAHs were then analyzed using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). The dataset contains the location, date and concentrations of PAHs. The cruise documentation was provided for the R/V Trident cruise, led by chief scientist Dr. Jamie Steichen.
