PHOTO Translational bladder cancer biorepository

Translational study associated with the PHOTO trial - A pragmatic randomised controlled phase III trial, investigating the efficacy transurethral resection of bladder tumour (TURBT) using photo-dynamic diagnosis (PDD) under blue light in intermediate and high risk non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC). The translational study is establishing a well-characterised cohort of patients with intermediate and high-risk NMIBC including clinical data, urine, blood and tumour specimens that would be available for separately funded research of genotypic and phenotypic studies.
