收藏资源简介:
Data associated with: Five decades of functional reorganization in a fluvial fish community If you use these data, please cite the associated manuscript: Paquette, C., Laporte, M., Taranu, Z.E. et Fugère, V. (In review) Five decades of functional reorganization in a fluvial fish community. These datasets contain the data used to produce the results presented in the manuscript Five decades of functional reorganization in a fluvial fish community. The repository includes processed fish community, functional trait, environmental, and hydrological data used in the analyses. Clean_table.xlsxContains temporal trends in fish functional traits reported for the world's 20 largest rivers, compiled through the literature review described in the manuscript. Traits_SLR.xlsxContains functional and physiological trait data for 115 fish species occurring in the St. Lawrence River. Traits include trophic level (FishBase), maximum body length, oral gape position (MoBd) and relative eye size (EdHd) from the FishMorph database (Su et al. 2021), critical thermal maximum (CTmax; Comte and Olden 2017), pollution tolerance (Barbour et al. 1999), dependence on submerged aquatic vegetation for spawning (phytophily; La Viollette et al. 2003; Giacomazzo et al. 2023), critical swimming speed (Ucrit; predicted from published values as described in the manuscript), non-native status (MELCCFP expert knowledge), conservation status (Gouvernement du Québec 2025), and monetary value (estimated market price per kilogram). Ucrit.xlsxContains mean published critical swimming speed (Ucrit) values for freshwater fish species occurring in Québec, compiled through a literature search. seine_large.xlsxContains abundance data for 51 fish species from 2,057 seine samples collected through the Réseau de Suivi Ichtyologique (RSI; La Viollette et al. 2003). gillnet_large.xlsxContains abundance data for 75 fish species from 2,561 gillnet samples collected through the RSI monitoring program (La Viollette et al. 2003). aqua_large.xlsxContains presence–absence data for 67 fish species across 5,758 sampling events collected by the Réseau d’Inventaire des Poissons de l’Estuaire (RIPE) at the Québec City Aquarium since 1975. lmm_slopes.xlsxContains coefficients from the linear mixed-effects models (RSI datasets) and linear models (Aquarium dataset) testing relationships between sampling year and species richness, functional richness, and community-weighted mean trait values. Temp_levis.xlsxContains water temperature measurements from the Lévis water intake station (46.8071° N, 71.1900° W) for 1995–2025, provided by the Government of Canada (2026). debit_level_lasalle.csvContains water discharge measurements from the LaSalle station (45.2454° N, 73.3723° W) for 1955–2025 (Government of Canada, 2026). Montreal_niveau.csvContains water level measurements from Montréal (45.5035° N, 73.5525° W) for 1925–2024, provided by Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO 2022). seine_wq.xlsxContains environmental measurements collected during RSI seine sampling, including Secchi depth (m), water temperature (°C), conductivity (µS cm⁻¹), pH, turbidity (NTU), and macrophyte presence–absence. gillnet_wq.xlsxContains environmental measurements collected during RSI gillnet sampling, including water temperature (°C), conductivity (µS cm⁻¹), pH, turbidity (NTU), and macrophyte coverage, scored from 0 (absent) to 4 (full coverage). SLR_script.R Is the R script used for the paper, including world largest rivers analysis, trait preparation, RDA analyses, richness/FRic/CWM analyses, species removal analyses, environmental analyses and figure generation.
