# Dataset Introduction
## Overview
This dataset comprises 200 traffic sign categories captured on Slovenian roads, spanning approximately 7,000 high-resolution images. The images were provided and annotated by DFG Consulting d.o.o., a Slovenian company. RGB images were acquired using cameras mounted on vehicles that traveled through six different cities in Slovenia. The image data was collected in both rural and urban areas. Only images containing at least one traffic sign were selected from the large volume of collected data. Additionally, the selection was conducted such that there is typically significant scene variation between any pair of consecutive selected images.
