作为一项现代海空战争兵棋游戏，CMANO被多国军事学院和机构采用作为模拟推演训练平台。这款游戏曾被美国《外交政策》杂志用来进行推演中日东海空战，2016年10月，Air Mobility Command（空中机动司令部）决定采用COMMAND作为他们的模拟工具之一，与此同时，Naval War College（海军战争学院）以及其他多个国家军事学院也将COMMAND PE（CMANO Pro版）纳入模拟推演训练平台之一。  CnOpenData整理了CMANO游戏中的共计两万多条飞机、船只、潜艇、设施、传感器和武器等全部装备数据，为相关研究助力。

As a modern sea and air warfare wargame, CMANO (Command: Modern Air/Naval Operations) has been adopted by military academies and institutions across multiple countries as a simulation and wargaming training platform. This game was once used by the U.S. magazine "Foreign Policy" to conduct wargames for the air combat scenario over the East China Sea between China and Japan. In October 2016, the U.S. Air Mobility Command decided to adopt COMMAND as one of its simulation tools. Meanwhile, the U.S. Naval War College and military academies from other countries have also included COMMAND PE (CMANO Professional Edition) into their wargaming training platforms. CnOpenData has compiled over 20,000 items of comprehensive equipment data from CMANO, including aircraft, vessels, submarines, facilities, sensors and weapons, to support relevant research.
