资源简介:
To characterise the longitudinal development of 10 m sprint acceleration and height of the counter movement jump (CMJ) across key stages of biological maturation in youth male football players. Dataset included twenty academy players (11.1–16.0 years; 151 observations) were assessed longitudinally. Age at peak height velocity (PHV) for each player was estimated from the longitudinal stature records by identifying the interval of maximal annual growth and noting its midpoint; developmental trajectories were aligned relative to years from PHV (Δage) and analysed using Generalized Additive Mixed Models. This dataset enables a longitudinal observational design spanning the interval at peak high velocity (PHV). The players were regularly evaluated across multiple testing sessions spanning the intervals of pre-, circa-, and post-PHV. The design permitted the tracking of individual trajectories in sprinting and jumping performance relative to each player’s biological maturity status relative to the interval of PHV.
