资源简介:
Lameness is a common condition in dairy cows, particularly during the transition period, when the weight of the udder places additional physical stress on the rear legs, and changes in immunometabolism can exert changes in the growth of hoof tissues. Sole ulcers are frequently associated with lameness in dairy cows. This study aimed to evaluate the transcriptome profile of the corium tissue of lactating dairy cows experiencing a sole ulcer condition. Hoof biopsies were performed in multiparous Holstein dairy cows selected based on their condition as clinically healthy (HC) or diagnosed with sole ulcers (SU) (n=6/group). The total RNA was extracted from hoof biopsies, and it was used for RNA sequencing analysis. This supplementary data contains the DEG list for the comparison between SU and HC cows based on FDR 2. This SU/HC comparison resulted in 1,217 upregulated and 637 downregulated genes.
