Evaluating the role of body size and habitat type in movement behavior in human-dominated systems: A frog’s eye view

These data were collected by coating juvenile anurans with fluorescent powder, releasing them, then returning four hours later. The powder trail was followed, and changes in direction were marked with flags. Starting locations were also noted, both within single habitat enclosures and at habitat edges. Characteristics of the path were recorded, including total path distance, displacement (distance from release point to final location), path linearity (displacement/total path distance). Dehydration data was collected by performing desiccation trials on juveniles of three anurans over a period of 4 hours.
