We report the annotated draft genome sequence of Verticillium hemipterigenum (syn. Torrubiella hemipterigena) BCC 1449. This strain has been reported as insect pathogen. Raw DNA-Seq data was assembled using Allpaths-LG, while gene structures have been predicted with a combination from eigth tools. The functionally annotated genomic sequence consists of 26 scaffolds with a total number of 10,773 genes.
