The relationship between physical activity and self-efficacy in healthcare students

The research data file aims to explore the interrelationships between physical activity and self-efficacy in healthcare students.
The data set contains data obtained from October 2024 to June 2025.
The data includes 747 participants between eighteen and fifty-three years of age who study in healthcare study programs including: Medical treatment, Therapeutic massage, Audiology, Ergotherapy, Physiotherapy, Art therapy, Nursing, Orthotics and Prosthetics, Psychology, Rehabilitation, Public health, Nutrition, Nutritional science, Midwifery, Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Dental hygienist. The participants of the study are students in Riga Stradiņš University.The data set includes: demographic information; questions about physical activity habits, including those derived from the study of health-affecting habits of Latvian adult population conducted by Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (SPKC, 2020); self-efficacy level measured with The General Self-efficacy Scale (GSES) (Schwarzer et al, 1995); physical activity level measured with International Physical Activity Questionnaire Short form (IPAQ-SF) (Craig et al, 2023); physical activity objective data recorded by the wearable device Fitbit Versa 4 (sports watch).
