资源简介:
Mulberry is the primary host plant supporting sericulture, but its productivity is severely threatened by the lesser mulberry pyralid, G. pyloalis. In this study, mulberry plants were treated with jasmonic acid (JA) or salicylic acid (SA) to induce host defenses, and the molecular and physiological responses of G. pyloalis were investigated using gut and fat body transcriptomics, gene expression analysis, RNA interference (RNAi), developmental assays, and antioxidant enzyme activity measurements. Comparative transcriptomic analysis revealed substantial transcriptional reprogramming in both tissues, with the gut showing a stronger response than the fat body.
