资源简介:
The survey includes questions on respondents' political preferences, interest in politics, trust in institutions and concerns. The survey monitors respondents' attitudes towards the war in Ukraine and the reception of refugees from Ukraine, as well as geopolitical orientations and attitudes towards NATO. The research examines decision-making in local and regional elections. The questions also cover attitudes towards the LGBTI+ community in the context of the attack on Zámocká Street in Bratislava. The data collection took place just after the combined regional and local elections, which took place on 29 October. At this time, the terrorist attack on patrons of a bar on Zámocká Street in Bratislava, perpetrated on 12 October, was still resonating in society, where LGBTI+ people congregate. Slovakia was also dealing with a healthcare crisis highlighted by the sacking of hospital doctors, and inflation was also a prominent theme, approaching 15% year-on-year in October, with continued rises in the price of both food and solid fuels, joined by rising prices for textiles and footwear. The war in Ukraine continued, with the Ukrainian army succeeding in liberating territories in the Kharkiv region in September and the early liberation of Kherson from where Russian troops were withdrawing was expected. The research is the sixteenth in the How are you, Slovakia? series.
