Supplementary Materials for manuscript titled "Bridging Policy and Practice: A review of Monitoring, Control, and Surveillance in Managing Illegal Fishing in India", Submitted to Marine Policy.

This repository includes supplementary materials for the manuscript submitted to Marine Policy. It contains:

Document S1: Policy implementatiton metada for Indian MCS policies. It includes all the data collected for implementation status under each subcode from online sources. The table presents the data as it was collected. 

Document S2: : A list of excerpts related to MCS policies collected from Indian marine regulatory documents.

Document S3: A list of policy documents reviewed under the study. 

Document S4: Coding framework used in the study, along with their definitions. It also includes columns showing the aspects reviewed and implemented in the study.

Document S5: Overlap analysis table, it gives a qualitative analysis of the MCS policies in India comparing it with International policies.

Document S6: Search string table, the table shows the use of ECLIPSE method to formulate the search strings with their time, date and obtained search results.

Docuement S7: ISR method file, the file shows the application of ISR method in the study and the scoring system on collected evidence.
