His friend dressed in short trousers and a long white shirt.; Cf. photo no. 559, album no. 20. -- The river Engare Narok, also referred to as Naroko River, is probably the one in the Mount Meru region flowing parallel to the Temi River and feeding the Burka River. -- Leonhard Blumer (1878-1938), from Kida in Estonia, served the Leipzig Mission as pastor and teacher in Arusha from 1907 to 1930 (apart from home leave in 1912-1913 and 1924-1926).
