Das Projekt ‘EIN CAFÉ FÜR EUROPA‘ – ‘Un café pour Europe‘ Europa-Cafés als Orte konvivialer Gastlichkeit und interkultureller Polyloge in den Ländern Europas

In diesem Beitrag wird eine Projektidee Integrativer Kulturarbeit vorgestellt, die den europäischen Gedanken und die Praxis eines „konvivialen, europäischen Zusammenlebens“ fördern soll. Auf dem Boden von europatheoretischen Konzepten zu einer „transversalen europäischen Kultur“ wird aufgezeigt, wie Mono- und Multikulturalität in Europa zur Interkulturalität überschritten werden muss, um schließlich europäische Transkulturalität zu erreichen. Spezielle „Europa-Cafés“ als Orte des Miteinanders und der Konvivialität scheinen uns sehr geeignet, mit europäischen Veranstaltungen und Diskursrunden über europäischen Themen etc. zu Europas Identität als Europäischer Identität beizutragen und sie in den Herzen und Gedanken der Europäer zu verankern. This paper is presenting a project idea of integrative cultural work, aiming to foster the European idea und a practice of “convivial European life”. On the ground of eurotheoretical concepts concerning a “transversal European culture” it is emphasized that mono- and multiculturality has to be exceeded in Europe to reach interculturality and finally to arrive at European transculturality.
