THE ROLE OF AI IN TEACHING PRONUNCIATION FOR ESL LEARNERS

This thesis explores the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in teaching pronunciation to English as a Second Language (ESL) learners. The study examines how AI-based tools and platforms support pronunciation development through automated assessment, error detection, and real-time feedback. The findings indicate that AI technologies significantly improve learners’ phonetic accuracy, promote self-regulated learning, and enable personalized instruction. The research highlights the effectiveness of AI as an innovative tool in enhancing pronunciation skills among ESL learners.
