Here, we include the R script and dataset of our paper analysis for Austral Ecology. Below we describe each file in details: script_func_dist_jan2020-7: the R script eith all analysis included in the final version of the paper tree-func_till-abund_ped-ass-iti.csv: dataset with all trees in the study with the refered functional traits and the abundance of each atmospheric bromeliad species tree-ind_abund_ped-ass-iti.csv: dataset with the trees' ID in the column names and their presence/absence in each sampled plot (rows) pres_all_spp_parcela.csv: dataset with the abundance of all sampled tree species (columns) in each sampled plot (rows) pres_host_spp_parcela.csv: dataset with the frequency of all sampled tree species as atmospheric bromeliads' hosts (columns) in each sampled plot (rows) all_trees_newick.txt: phylogenetic tree of sampled tree species in Newick format till_func_ass-ped-iti.csv: dataset with all atmospheric bromeliad individuals sampled with the refered functional traits and host tree IDs
