Data and program codes to reproduce the results of modeling with a joint utilization of the Plus-Minus method and the PROFIT code for refracted seismic tomography

This file contains the information to reproduce the results presented in the article: "Building an optimal starting model for the refracted seismic tomography inversion" by Ivan Koulakov, et al., submitted to Near Surface Geophysics. This file includes: 1. The full folder PROFIT_code with the updated version of the PROFIT code for the refracted seismic tomography (Koulakov, 2010, Geophysics) with a possibility to define the starting 2D velocity model with the use of the Plus-Minus method. 2. Folders with field and synthetic datasets used in the article. 3. README_PROFIT.PDF file with the description of the workflow on how to reproduce the tomography models based on experimental and synthetic data presented in the article.
