WSAC College Bound Scholarship Sign-Up Rates

The College Bound Scholarship was created to provide state financial aid to low-income students who may not consider college a possibility due to the cost. The scholarship covers tuition (at comparable public college rates), some fees, and a small book allowance. This dataset contains the counts of 7th or 8th grade students whose family meets the income requirements (CBS_Eligible), those who submit and complete an application by June 30 of the student’s 8th grade year(CBS_Applications), and the Sign-Up Rate (CBS_Rate) calculated as a percentage.为助力家境贫寒之学子突破经济壁垒，实现大学梦想，州政府特设立“大学预备奖学金”。该奖学金旨在为符合收入标准的学子提供州级财政援助，涵盖学费（与公立院校可比标准相当）、部分费用及小额书籍津贴。 本数据集收录了7至8年级学生中，其家庭收入满足相关要求的（CBS_Eligible）人数、至8年级学生当年6月30日前提交并完成申请的（CBS_Applications）人数，以及计算出的报名率（CBS_Rate），以百分比形式呈现。
