资源简介:
This dataset contains stable isotope ratios (d13C and d15N) for the critically endangered Central American river turtle (Dermatemys mawii), dominant fish species, and potential basal resources collected from an oxbow lake in the Usumacinta River Basin, Mexico. The data includes isotopic values categorized by age and sex for D. mawii, as well as signatures for primary producers such as aquatic macrophytes (e.g., Pistia stratiotes), riparian plants, and seston. These data were used to analyze inter- and intraspecific trophic relationships, niche partitioning, and energy pathways within the aquatic community. This data supports the findings published in 'Stable isotope analysis reveals inter- and intraspecific trophic relationships of the endangered Central American river turtle in southern Mexico' (Limnologica, 2025).
