Databases searched: PubMed; EbscoHost; Scopus; Web of Science; Cochrane Library; NHS Economic Evaluation Database (NHS EED); Cost-Effectiveness Analysis Registry; and the Africa-Wide Information (AWI); African Journals Online (AJoL) and Google Scholar platforms. <br> Papers published up to June 2021 were included.
