The data in Figure 4A are in "Fig4A.xlsx" file. It was acquired by using "Raw image preslide.tif" which is the fluorescence image from normalized friction 0.7 to 1 to quantitatively calculate the shear stress before the onset of sliding. Afterwards, images were divided by the pressure from the simulation (Sim_Pressure.tif) to get the local CoF. Radially average the CoF Mapping, one can get the data from 4A. Unfortunately, the code is not open-source. One can possibly get the code by asking Prof. Dr. Matthijn de Rooij.

To get Figure 4B, one could use the CoF mapping and define a logic evaluation such values >0.5 are slipping. Then one can get file like "Slip Zone.tif". Super-imposing the Slip Zone.tif to Contact Area.tif one can get the same results shown in Figure 4B.
