Example Data For The Visible Software Package

Example data to recreate Figure 5 from "Detecting Weak Spectral Lines in Interferometric Data through Matched Filtering" by Loomis et al., which describes the VISIBLE software package (https://github.com/AstroChem/VISIBLE/). "example_CH3OH_data.tgz" contains synthetic CH3OH observations in CASA measurement set format, to be filtered. "example_images.tgz" contain CASA images of the synthetic observations, created using the CASA task "clean". The three .FITS files are to be used as filter kernel templates. "recreate_figure_5.py" applies the filter kernels to the synthetic observations and recreates Figure 5 from the paper, providing a demonstration of how to use the matched_filter() function in VISIBLE.
