提供具備正式學籍之在學學生【男、女】總人數，包括本國籍學生、僑生、外國學生(含雙聯學制學生)、大陸地區來臺就讀之學位生等；但不包括選讀生、休退學生、學分班、交換生(非學位生)、保留入學資格或無學籍學生等；另國際專修部之學位先修生於112學年前不計列，113學年後計入本表；本資料集以每年10月15日為資料標準日，按學校代碼、學校名稱、科系代碼、科系名稱、日間/進修別、等級別、年級別、姓別、縣市名稱、體系別。

This dataset covers the total count of formally matriculated enrolled students (categorized by gender: male and female), including domestic students, overseas Chinese students, foreign students (including those enrolled in dual-degree programs), and degree-seeking students from the Chinese mainland studying in Taiwan. The following groups are excluded: students taking only elective courses without full matriculation, suspended or withdrawn students, participants in continuing education classes, non-degree-seeking exchange students, students who have retained admission eligibility but not yet registered, and students without formal academic status. Additionally, pre-degree students in the International Specialized Division are not included prior to the 112th academic year, and will be added to the dataset starting from the 113th academic year. This dataset takes October 15 of each year as its standard data reference date, and is classified according to school code, school name, department code, department name, day/extension education track, academic level, grade, gender, county/city name, and educational system category.
