"This dataset supports the research presented in the paper \u201cAcoustic Indoor Localization Using Two Base Stations Based on TDoA and Relative Speed to Base Stations\u201d\uff0c which proposes a novel acoustic indoor localization (AIL) strategy by fusing Time Difference of Arrival (TDoA) and Relative Speed to Base Stations (RStBS). The dataset enables the reproduction and further investigation of the proposed two-base-station localization system under non-line-of-sight (NLOS) conditions.This dataset contains the acoustic signals received by a mobile device (e.g., a smartphone) from four acoustic base stations. The signals are linear frequency-modulated chirps signals transmitted in the 16-23 kHz frequency band. The data was collected during indoor localization experiments in environments such as offices and corridor intersections, corresponding to the validation scenarios (Scenario A and Scenario B) described in the paper.This dataset is particularly valuable for researchers in the fields of indoor localization, sensor fusion, and acoustic signal processing. It serves as a benchmark for developing and evaluating robust localization algorithms that aim to minimize infrastructure (number of base stations) while mitigating the impact of NLOS errors. The inclusion of two distinct complex scenarios (A & B) allows for comprehensive testing of algorithmic robustness."
