RNA-seq of pirmary human monocytes stimulated with C-reactive protein in the presence or absence of PLGA and PEG-PLGA nanoparticles

This study explores how C-reactive protein (CRP) modulate monocyte transcriptomic responses in the presence of PLGA based polymeric nanoparticles with varying PEGylation. Primary human monocytes were isolated from buffy coat donors and stimulated for 4 hours with CRP or no stimulus, combined with PLGA, short-PEG PLGA (2/11 kDa), or long-PEG PLGA (5/25 kDa) nanoparticles. RNA-seq analysis was performed to identify differential gene expression and pathway-level alterations under these immunomodulatory conditions.
