Study Data: How Mental Model Congruence Shapes the Perceived Intuitiveness of Embodied Flying in VR

This dataset accompanies a mixed-design study investigating how alignment between participants’ mental models and embodied VR flying techniques affects perceived intuitiveness. It includes anonymized participant responses (results-survey-all-r.csv), the study preregistration (AsPredicted #297662.pdf), and three printable surveys administered at different stages of the study. PrintableSurvey_152545.pdf was administered upon arrival, while PrintableSurvey_466244.pdf and PrintableSurvey_487411.pdf were administered after the two respective VR exposures. The dataset also contains the C# scripts used to implement the Bird/Wings (BirdFlyingController.cs) and Superman (SupermanFlyingController.cs) flying techniques.
