资源简介:
This dataset contains self-potential (SP) time series acquired on Vulcano Island (Aeolian Archipelago, southern Italy), using a fixed pair of non-polarizable Cu/CuSO₄ (gel-filled) electrodes. The electrodes are buried at approximately 1 m depth, aligned along a North–South (N–S) direction, and separated by 80 m. They are installed on the western slopes of La Fossa crater. The datalogger records the natural electric potential difference (ΔV) between the two electrodes every 30 seconds, with a nominal resolution of 40 microvolts (40 µV). The dataset is distributed as an Excel file (SelfVulcano.xlsx) containing four monitoring periods, each stored in a separate sheet (220622_060923, 060923_100324, 230520_181124, 191124_170525). All sheets share the same structure with two columns: Date (YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss) and SP values in millivolts (mV). These data can be used to investigate temporal variations of the near-surface electric field potentially associated with hydrothermal circulation, fluid flow, and volcanic processes at Vulcano.
