To elucidate the molecular mechanism by which piRNA FERPIR (DQ69304) regulates gene expression, RNA-seq was performed on control or FERPIR-knockdown mouse neonatal cardiomyocytes. Based on RNA-seq data, 2513 differentially expressed genes were shown in FERPIR-knockdown cardiomyocyte relative to NC control, including 1132 upregulated and 1391 downregulated genes. Overall design: FERPIR Antagomir or Negative control (NC) were transfected into mouse neonatal cardiomyocytes. Total RNAs were extracted from Antagomir or Negative control knockdown cardiomyocytes. Then, high throughput RNA sequencing was performed to identify differences in the gene expression profile.
