Cenchrus purpureus is widely popular because of its high grass yield. In order to explore the mRNAs that regulate the two main traits of internode elongation and anthocyanin in different varieties of C.purpureus, this study used purple elephant grass, Guiminyin elephant grass and dwarf elephant grass as experimental materials, and used the second-generation high-throughput technology to perform transcriptome sequencing on the stem bud tissue of grass.
