Gene expression in muscle tissues of Parnell's mustached bat (Pteronotus parnellii)

Like many megabats, Parnell's mustached bat (Pteronotus parnellii) is an insectivore that uses echolocation for foraging. These echolocating calls are powered by highly adapted muscles. To gain a better understanding of these adaptations, biological samples were isolated from various tissues for gene expression analyses.
