Fire Recovery / North Stradbroke Island / Weed control and clean up

South East Queensland Catchments will work with Quandamooka Yoolooburrabee Aboriginal Corporation and the Green Army team to support the restoration of Quandamooka country on North Stradbroke Island. Specifically the project is detailed below.

- South East Queensland Catchments will provide GIS analysis to identify hotspots

- South East Queensland Catchments to assist the Service provider in stakeholder liaison

South East Queensland Catchments/Quandamooka Yoolooburrabee Aboriginal Corporation will be available to be engaged by the Service Provider:
- to finalise site induction and to facilitate access and identify site issues

- to support the recruitment process to ensure selection is based on good understanding of cultural
issues
- to provide Cultural heritage training to participants

- to coordinate and deliver a community workshop to build awareness of the project.
