Political Stability Index (2000–2022)

The Political Stability Index provides annual measures of political stability and political risk for up to 157 countries from 2000 to 2022. The dataset contains an aggregate Political Stability Index and seven underlying dimensions: conflict and violence, corruption, ethnocultural fragilities, political constraints, quality of political governance, rights and freedoms, and welfare and socioeconomic conditions. The index is constructed from 94 underlying variables drawn from 14 data sources and 16 databases. Higher index values indicate greater political stability and lower political risk.
