The series of fourteen novel tripodal fluorophores based on central triphenylamine donor, electron-rich and polarizable divinylthiophene, and eight different fluorine-based substituents have been designed and prepared together with one linear analogue and three none-fluorinated parental structures. The thermal, electrochemical, linear and non-linear optical properties were thoroughly investigated, supported by DFT calculations. The effect of different fluorination has been thorougly discussed.
