This series comprises of a register of Cabinet decisions that was established as a database in circa 1987 by Cabinet Office during the Cain/Kirner Government as recorded in the Cabinet Record (VPRS 11948). Cabinet decisions from 1982 to 1992 were entered into the database which has since been extracted and converted into an MS Excel spreadsheet for transfer to PROV. Fields recorded in the database (and featured in the spreadsheet) include: - decision number - Minister/portfolio - meeting number - meeting date - decision. Please note that there are some discrepancies evident in the data such as incomplete fields or incorrect dates which are most likely a result of human error during the data entry process.
