Mutmap+ analysis and RNA-seq analysis for fruit spot trait in melon (Cucumis melo L.).

This project employs Mutmap+ analysis and RNA-seq analysis for mutant 'S249' in conjunction with whole-genome resequencing to identify genetic loci associated with the fruit spot trait in melon (Cucumis melo L.). Two extreme bulks of Mutmap+ analysis were created from an F2 segregating population: one bulk comprised of individuals exhibiting prominent fruit spots (Bulk 'ST') and the other consisting of individuals without spots (Bulk 'NOST'). RNA-seq analysis were created from '13C' vs 'S249' and mottled fruit region (P114Y) vs non-mottled region of 'P114' (P114W).
