Gene expression profile at single cell level of cells from the dura mater and brain of mice subjected middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) or Sham treatment.

The mouse dura mater shows strong immune responses after MCAO. We used single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) to analyze the transcriptional changes in the dural cells. We also analyzed the brain from MCAO mice as a comparison. Overall design: CD45-positive and -negative cells in the dura mater and CD45-positive CD11b-negative cells in the brain of MCAO or Sham-treated mice were sorted by Fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS) and analyzed using scRNA-seq.
