In this study we performed an RNA-SEQ experiment comparing dicamba susceptible (S) and resistant (R) kochia plants to elucidate the mechanism of resistance. Additionally we looked at plants of the S and R strain both treated and not treated with dicamba. This plant is an important agricultural and rangeland weed of the western high plains of America and as resistance evolves in this species, we are quickly running out of chemical control methods.
