This dataset contains the underling raw data of IAM COMPACT "Study 8 – Trade dynamics". Study 8 is part of the Global Effects theme , which considers trade and macroeconomic issues and their effects on European decarbonisation. During the first cycle, the theme included Study 3 on geopolitical shocks and supply-chain constraints , and Study 6 on the impact of uneven interest rates worldwide . Meetings with DG Trade, the European Central Bank, and the National Bank of Belgium revealed a desire to deepen these analyses by exploring alternative trade-partner scenarios—both among major powers and between Europe and prospective markets—giving rise to the following research question:
