Mineral production value breakdown in Spain 2022, by region

In 2022, the production of minerals in Spain was the highest in Andalusia with roughly 34 percent of the country's production value. Castile and Leon and Catalonia followed with a share of 16.2 and 11.2 percent, respectively. On the other side of the spectrum, Spain's autonomous community with the lowest production value that year was the Canary Islands with 0.7 percent.
