Anonymized dataset for region-specific radiofrequency ablation versus ablation index-guided pulmonary vein isolation

This repository contains the anonymized dataset used in a retrospective observational study comparing a region-specific pulmonary vein isolation (PVI) strategy combining very high-power short-duration posterior wall ablation with ablation index-guided anterior wall ablation versus conventional ablation index-guided PVI. The dataset includes baseline clinical characteristics, procedural metrics, acute efficacy outcomes including first-pass isolation, peri-procedural complications, and follow-up data on atrial tachyarrhythmia recurrence and repeat ablation. This revised version contains the final dataset. Source data were rechecked case by case and previously unavailable procedural values were recovered from archived procedural backups. No values were imputed. The dataset contains 250 patients (125 per treatment group) and includes the matched-pair identifier used in the paired analyses. Exact procedure dates have been removed; procedure year is provided to allow assessment of calendar-period effects while preserving anonymization.
