Gas oil and diesel road sector consumption in the EU 2013-2022

The EU road sector was responsible for a gas oil and diesel consumption of 171.7 million metric tons in 2022. The use of these products by the transportation sector, and specifically on roads, has increased by more than 10 million metric tons since 2020.
