Confocal data of Icaroramus perisi, holotype, NIGP209038

This dataset contains the raw confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM) slices for the holotype of Icaroramus perisi (NIGP209038) from mid-Cretaceous Burmese amber. This dataset is associated with the publication "A firefly relative that smelled and shined: evidence for complex signalling systems in Cretaceous lampyroids" (DOI:XXX).Confocal images were obtained with a Zeiss LSM710 confocal laser scanning microscope, using the 561 nm (DPSS-561) laser excitation line.
