The Earth Observatory of Singapore - Remote Sensing Lab (EOS-RS) created preliminary Damage Proxy Maps (DPM) and Flood Proxy Maps (FPM) covering northern Rakhine, Myanmar due to Cyclone Mocha which made landfall on 14 May 2023. These maps were derived from synthetic aperture radar images acquired by the Copernicus Sentinel-1 satellites operated by the European Space Agency and ALOS-2 satellites operated by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).
