Reference uLaue 2D map of a Zr-Cr planar sheet for the study of coated nuclear claddings

This acquisition is part of the study of the local mechanical strain state at the interface of Zr-Cr interface for nuclear claddings. The present sample is a planar sheet with Zr substrate (presently Zy4), coated with 15um of Cr by PVD. A uLaue 2D map 60um x 50um with 1um step was acquired in a region of interest in order to obtain a reference uLaue IPF orientation 2D map of the Zr substrate below the coating. The obtained map is used as a reference for subsequent acquisitions. The Zr grains are large enough to be distinguishable for each map analysis. This allows to register acquisitions performed at different campaigns
