Expert-Curated Synthetic Healthcare Datasets for Retrieval-Augmented Public Health and Clinical Decision Support Systems

This dataset collection was developed to support research on retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), clinical decision support, and public-health information systems. The collection contains five expert-curated healthcare repositories stored in JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) format and designed for evaluating AI-enabled healthcare assistants in primary-care environments. The dataset consists of: Public Health Repository (101 disease records) containing disease descriptions, symptoms, transmission routes, prevention strategies, and treatment guidance. Doctor Registry Repository containing physician profiles, specialties, consultation schedules, and outpatient department (OPD) assignments. Patient Management Repository containing synthetic patient records, visit histories, diagnoses, medications, and follow-up information. OPD Scheduling and Room Management Repository containing consultation-room assignments, physician schedules, appointment availability, and outpatient workflow information. Case Triage and Escalation Repository containing synthetic triage scenarios, symptom descriptions, severity scores, confidence scores, escalation decisions, and referral pathways. The repositories were developed with input from healthcare professionals, including physicians and healthcare administrators, to emulate realistic primary-care workflows. All patient-related, scheduling, and triage records are synthetic and were created exclusively for research, benchmarking, educational, and methodological evaluation purposes. No personally identifiable information (PII), protected health information (PHI), or real patient records are included in this dataset. The dataset is intended for research in healthcare artificial intelligence, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), clinical decision support systems, medical question answering, healthcare workflow automation, and public-health informatics.
